Breaking the Barriers in Children Rehabilitation: from Correction towards Inclusive Collaboration

Lithuanian Sea Museum together with Klaipeda University and partners from Kaliningrad Region: Children's Psychoneurological Health Center "Teremok" and Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University implement a cross-border cooperation project, aiming at improving the accessibility of social, medical and educational services for families rising children with psychomotor problems. The project will contribute to implementation of the jointly elaborated methodology of early diagnostics and innovative bio-psycho-social rehabilitation for children with psychomotor problems.
Based on experience, skills and knowledge of specialists of the two states, research laboratories of early diagnostic equipped with special tools and methodology will be established.
The project is implemented under the Lithuania-Russia Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020. Overall budget of the project is 640260 EUR, Programme funding - 576234 EUR. Budget of the Lithuanian Sea Museum is 158235 EUR.
