Baltic Museums: Love IT!

Projekto pavadinimas: „Baltic Museums: Love IT!“Lithuanian Sea Museum together with partner museums, IT specialists and research institutions from Poland, Denmark, Sweden and Germany, cooperate in the project ‘Baltic Museums: Love IT!’ to create innovative gamified IT-enabled tools for the visitors of natural and cultural heritage institutions. The three-year project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, Interreg South Baltic Programme. The project aims at developing multilingual tours to be run on the own devices of the visitors (e.g. smartphones) when visiting aquaria,  museums, and other edutaining institutions. Addressing the trend of gamification, the tours will use game elements to make the visitors’ experience more involving or even extend a single visit into long-term relationship. Project Partners: Stralsund University of Applied Sciences (Germany), National Marine Fisheries Research Institute (Poland), Malmö Museums (Sweden), NaturBornholm (Denmark), Experyment Science Centre in Gdynia (Poland), Foundation of Internet Industry Development "Netcamp" (Poland), Business Academy North gGmbH (Germany), Lithuanian Sea Museum (Lithuania).  Project duration: 2017–2020. Project budget: 1.484.375 EUR.
