Collection of Art

The collection consists of 653 marinist artworks, including the works by such authors as Eduardas Jonušas, Viktor Shildknekht, graphic art by Arvydas Každailis,  Irena Kačenauskaitė,  Felicija Kačenauskaitė, Augustinas Burba, sculptures by Leonas Garla and Gintautas Jonkus.

Among valuable exhibits there are engravings from the XVIII–XX c. presenting the scenes of fishing by the peninsula of Brittany, the Dutch sailing and naval ships, battle at the sea. 
The scene of the engraving showing a workshop of anchors in Holland was taken as a background for the installation in the Lithuanian Sea Museum. Digital copies of the engravings are displayed in the permanent exhibition of the Museum, also in the building of the Lithuanian Maritime Academy. There were few temporary exhibitions presenting the engravings arranged.
